About Cura

Cura means (in Latin) ‘TO CARE’. Cura was founded in 2012 by two oncology doctors, two former breast cancer patients, a Macmillan Nurse and others with experience in the charity sector. We now have a group of Trustees who run the charity and meet regularly to discuss fund raising events and accept grant applications. We like to focus our funding directly to patient need showing that we care and would like to help if we possibly can.

Cura offers financial support to breast cancer patients with limited means living in the London Borough of Hillingdon and neighbouring Home Counties including Middlesex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.

Cura has no overheads and all funds raised are used to help patient applicants within the NHS and private sector who fulfil given criteria.

  • Cura was established in 2012
